Creating a web server on vm virtual box [ubuntu, LAMP, aapanel]

 

Hello Everyone,

hope you were doing well in this pandemic.  Great!

I tried an experiment to mimic the process of hosting a website on digital ocean VPS ubuntu web Server in VirtualBox.

so I can host my websites and a script like aapanel (alternative of  Cpanel) on my VirtualBox. 

 

to do that I need 4 things:

• VirtualBox : https://www.virtualbox.org/
• Ubuntu server .iso file : https://ubuntu.com/
• aapanel command: https://www.aapanel.com/index.html
• putty ssh  : https://www.putty.org/

list of commands:

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get upgrade

sudo apt install net-tools

Ubuntu/Deepin:

wget -O install.sh http://www.aapanel.com/script/install-ubuntu_6.0_en.sh && sudo bash install.sh
